Character Ai rant

Why I really dislike character ai platforms specifically C.ai (though I think other platforms are just as bad)

Character ai is purposefully addicting and they know it (if you look at some of their TikTok's they practically admit it). I recently saw a TikTok of a person who was saying they were hooked on it and basically describing how they ended up losing 7 pounds, barley ate or slept even went days and days without showering or brushing their teeth just to talk to ai. This is obviously extremely bad for your mental and physical health and very disturbing to imagine. When c.ai shut down I saw hundreds of videos of people freaking out over it and even though it only lasted for about a day. C.ai hurts people's social life and skills as well, the amount of people that have admitted to skipping time with family friends etc. to talk to bots is insane.

I know this isn't that big of a deal, but it's always bothered me, so I wanted to rant about it.
