Alternative fashion and small towns

Living in a small town fucking sucks because I love alternative fashion( hippie, grunge etc) but when I wear it, I stand out way too fucking much. My main fashion is more hippie/boho but I've also been dipping my toes into punk/grunge. My town loves my hippie aesthetic! I constantly get compliments on my outfits, but as I dip into the darker stuff, I know damn well I'm not gonna get the same reaction.

So that's fun!
