I'm a roleplayer but not a writer so I guess I can try.
I have one character who is friendly and wants everyone to be happy and get along. But she's very pushy with her way and will very quickly brand others as enemies or bad people if they're against what she thinks.
Another character I have is portrayed as a hero who fights for justice against evil monsters(the supernatural). In reality, she's quite racist against them and will hunt them down for just not being human while denying any good they do and say is true. She believes the world will be a better place without them.
I need to redo this character and flesh her out but I'm toying the idea of someone who does her job and does what needs to be done, but often gets burnt out, breaks down from it, and questions why was she forced into a lifestyle she doesn't want.

First off, roleplay and such definitely has a place in these types of topics, alot of creative mind power goes into the channeling of ours thoughts into characters separate of our identities or maybe even some resemblances. It’s all beautiful brainstorming and I’m here for it!
I personally can relate quite a bit to your first character, not sure if that’s good or bad for me (lol) but I can completely understand where that persona is coming from, the ability to introduce and also spread shared interests to others can be perceived as an assertive personality trait! I personally find it to be very grabbing and I would be happy to engage on a social level with that character personally, I do love the way they kinda take a blow to heart when others don’t share the same enthusiasm as them, it screams humanity but it also just shows the unwavering desire to be that social butterfly and leave a mark on individual’s identity with a fragment of your own.
I appreciate your time in giving me some useful and insightful perspectives!
Moving on to the second personality though, I feel as if this one, is the extreme passionate type, the person you know has been through quite a lot and has reached an albatross of void reason, they may never change how they feel about certain others but that damn passion is always gonna be there, burning ever so strongly as the first day they achieved this leveled mindset of determination and ambition, all that coated with the essence of passion: be it love or hate. I can just tell this character WON’T back down until the objective has been completed, until that life story has been told, this burning enigma of emotions and intent is a powerful attractor, I believe both good and evil will eventually be met by their hands and devil may care if you’re on the right or wrong side of things, like I said earlier, the vibes are a manifested purpose, a destiny that will either be fulfilled or end in martyrdom..
I apologize in advance if I’m reading into your characters dynamics incorrectly but that’s what I’m feeling from what I read. I LOVE both these characters, not gonna lie to you, something about this power kinda scares me, the dark determination to see one thing through to the bitter or hopeful end. It makes for a deadly foe or powerful ally but also a wildly entertaining character personality to be attached to, I may not fully understand what the back stories are or why some changes are pending from your end, but allow me this moment to applaud what you have chosen as it’s right up my alley, even if they’re simple roleplay characters that you created, I’m pulled into the narrative and those are the types of things I’m looking for.
