No one knows how the Ikimono's came to be. Years of research led to nothing. Some believe magic is the origin of Ikimono's, others think its evolution. The kingdom of terra is ruled by the king and queen and is filled with all types of magic. With this magic, crime has evolved. All Ikimono's had advantages in different ways. To reduce crime 6 teenagers, usually aged from 14 to 18 are chosen to be heroes. Each hero is chosen based off of their magic. Sometimes students as young as 10 can be chosen if they are advanced. 

This year's student's consist's of Cain Lucos a grey wolf Ikimono, Axel June a Cheeta Ikimono, Orion Cruz a dwarf white rabbit Ikimono, Mable Ocean a Ram Ikimono, Alice Foster a red panda Ikimono, and Octavia Clarke a deer Ikimono. [still in the future but idk what year]

CHAPTER ONE: POV Cain Lucos

"Honey there's mail for you" My mom called from the kitchen. I walk downstairs and into the kitchen, grabbing the letter and pressing the seal, the light letter appearing in front of me, lighting up the kitchen [not the same as this but i like the idea of these futury letters from light] and it says:

Dear Cain Lucos, 

You have been selected to be one of the 6 hero's this year. Please report to [] asap. Bring nothing but yourself.

I swipe my hand through the light and it flurries away in light fragments. "Hey, mom did you sign me up for some stupid hero thing?" She shakes her head. "Are you sure? Cuz [] Hero agency said I've been selected for somethin". She walks into her room and grabs the letter, pressing the seal. "Do teachers not tell you guys about this? Just go to [] Hero Agency and they'll explain alright kiddo?" I shoot her a confused look "Uh ok, see ya later mom". 

I grab my longboard before leaving and ride down the stone road. My board gets stuck on a crack in the road and I fall off the board and hitting the road hard. "Are you ok?" I look up to see a Cheeta Ikimono with blonde hair, dark brown eyes, and vitiligo wearing blue jeans, a pair of running shoes, and a red Terra High Football jacket, though he looked like he'd be crushed in seconds. "That looked like it hurt". [he doesnt exist anymore]

He helped me up "I'm fine it happens a lot" I feel my hands burning and I see they're all scrapped up. "Do you have band-aids by any chance?" He nods and pulls a couple out of his pockets. "Are you going to [] hero agency too?"

"Yeah, do you know what up with all this? Cuz I never signed up for some stupid hero course." He gasped "Well no, but being a hero isn't stupid!"

"Why would I save a bunch of people I don't know? They could be just as bad as the people I'm saving them from" I grab my board and walk towards the Agency. 

The Cheeta Ikimono walks beside me and he's a foot shorter than me. "What's your name?" he askes. 

"Cain, you?"

"Axel." 

"How old is your board?" he says, wonder in his eyes.

"Not sure, my dad said he got it from his dad, so on and so on. I don't see many people with these anymore though."

He nodded "Yeah, my dad used to have one but he sold It for like 1,000 coins"

"Only 1,000? If i didn't have this I'd buy it for double, they are so underrated." [cain definately has 'antiques' and its just stuff from now]

We get to the agency and go in.

CHAPTER TWO: POV Axel June

We walk into the agency and see 4 other Ikimono's, 3 girls and one boy. Cain walk's to a corner and pulls out his phone. I walk to him and sit down, finally getting a good look at him. He has long grey hair pulled into a low ponytail that goes to his shoulders [same except his hair is now black with streaks of gray from stress. plus he has textured hair], golden eyes [blue now], dark skin. He's wearing black jeans, converse and an old-looking band T-Shirt with faded letters to where it was almost impossible to read Falling In Reverse, his tail [i like tho think he has a fake tail now, like therians or some emo/scene ppl wear] swishing back and forth. 

After almost an hour of everyone sitting quietly, I decided to say something. "So did all of you get the same letter?" A Deer Ikimono who is wearing what looks like a fancy middle school uniform [olivia, btw. shes the youngest still] square glasses that almost hid her blue eyes, and has two small antlers speaks up "Well, Obviously. What other reason would we all have for meeting in this seemingly desolate building?" Her long brown hair pulled into one braid.

"Seemingly what?" The red Panda says [theyre not in this anymore] her red hair is short and messy and her eyes are bright green. She's wearing a hoodie and shorts and what looks like slippers, her tail wrapped around her neck like a scarf.

She sighed "I'll simplify it for your minuscule brain, this building is empty, Not a single adult has entered here, those doors are locked," she said pointing to the doors that lead to the rest of the building. "And this place is dusty." [olivia is snoot]

As she says that we hear a click. The deer grabs the door handles and the doors swing open. "I guess they're open now," The red panda says and walks inside. The deer, bunny, and ram walk in behind her. I nudged Cain who was still staring down at his phone. He looks to me and we walk into the rest of the Acadamy. We walk into what I assume is the lobby and look around.
