Tsumugi x eichi fanfic angst (enstars)

"Beneath Love Lies Betrayal" featuring the 5 Eccentrics, and ex-fine !!

Once upon a time, the student council president of Yumenosaki Academy, Eichi Tenshouin was secretly in love with an 'untalented' student, Wataru Hibiki. One day when he realized Yumenosaki Academy was in a state of disrepair, he was at first was going to group up Rei Sakuma, Shu Itsuki, Wataru and himself to 'cleanse' Yumenosaki Academy. But then, a shy yet talented student, Tsumugi Aoba, came to him and threatened him that if he does not group up Nagisa Ran, Hiyori Tomoe, him and Eichi to 'cleanse' the school, he'll kill the love of his life, Wataru. And of course, Eichi had to follow his orders. He at first was going to pair up only Wataru and Rei, but then decided to add three more students. One day, during Valkyrie's performance, he pushed one of the Eccentrics, Kanata Shinkai, onto the stage. He forced the eccentric to slap Mika Kagehira on stage to embarrass him. Before he even did that, Wataru came to the rescue just like Superman, Wataru calmly explained everything, saying that all of that was just an act, and he gave the wrong script. Then, he got Kanata back downstage. Eichi seeing that was half amused and half annoyed, while Tsumugi beside him was terribly annoyed. So, in order to satisfy himself (Tsumugi), Tsumugi decided to disband Valkyrie. And it was a success. Nagisa and Hiyori helped with the rumors, and Eichi was in charge of 'spying' the eccentrics. During the 'spying' mission, he and Wataru had a lot of amazing and meaningful conversations, he began fell in love more. But sadly, Tsumugi found out. Tsumugi decided to disband the 5 Eccentrics as well, and threatened Eichi (again) that if he fails on disbanding the group, Tsumugi will not hesitate to kill Wataru. And again, Eichi obeyed. One day, when the five eccentrics was hanging out with each other, Eichi came to them, saying that he wants to meet Wataru. And during their private conversation, Eichi confessed his feelings, but sadly, Wataru rejected him kindly since he already loved someone else, it was Shu. After Valkyrie got disbanded, Wataru and Shu got really close, so no doubt that Wataru is in love with the puppet master. Eichi acted like it was all okay, and walked away, when in the inside, he was heartbroken. After a few weeks, he and Tsumugi surprisingly got along well, and he thought that he might have some feelings for Tsumugi now. And one day, during (ex-)fine's meeting, Eichi confessed to Tsumugi in front of Nagisa and Hiyori. The three of them laughed out loud, Tsumugi accepting his confession as a joke. Eichi was heartbroken once again. After a few months, when (ex-)fine got disbanded due to some arguments, the area Yumenosaki Academy was in had an earthquake. The ground shook so hard that nobody could walk properly. Then, a sinkhole appeared. Nagisa, Hiyori, Rei, Natsume, Kanata fell into the sinkhole. The five of them died immediately. Their bodies slowly disappearing from the surface of the earth. Then, on the school's rooftop, stood Eichi, Wataru, Tsumugi and Shu. They were just staring at eachother, but didn't panicked at all during the earthquake. Eichi pulled a knife out of his pocket and stabbed Shu in the heart. Wataru looked shocked, didn't know what to say or do. So, he just watched his beloved Shu dying. And then, Tsumugi laughed out loud, saying that Wataru didn't deserve that puppet master. Wataru hearing that became a little furious, and took the knife from Eichi and stabbed Tsumugi's leg. Tsumugi fell kneeling down, clearly trying to hold back the pain. Even with all the pain, he still managed to look at Eichi and said, "Eichi, just so you know, I loved you too. But ever since you and Wataru got close, I had nothing but jealousy. So Eichi, if you still love me, do me a favour and kill that masked pervert." Eichi's body was trembling, although he loved Tsumugi, his heart still belonged to Wataru. But without hesitation, he kindly asked Wataru for the knife. Wataru, knowing Eichi for a few months now, simply gave him. With a look that says "I wouldn't mind if you kill me" on him. Eichi hesitated, and drew the knife up towards the sky, and stabbed himself in the stomach. Both Wataru and Tsumugi were surprised by his actions. Wataru laughing out loud, "I knew you would do that! You love me and him, of course you would hesitate!" Eichi pulled the knife out, and dropped a few tears from his eyes. He was clearly confused, whether Wataru was a true friend, or a traitor. He began question himself. Wataru seeing his reaction laughed even louder, "Hahaha! You don't know? I just became friends with you so that I wouldn't really be known as one of the losers of the five eccentrics. Just for that. And besides, that day when you confessed to me, and when I said I loved Shu, it was a lie. I hated him with all my heart. I never loved anyone, because I know, I will get heartbroken in the way like you did. So, I just simply became everyone's enemy without them knowing! Oh and just for you to know,, I was one of the big reasons why your group, fine, got disbanded! I spread multiple rumors about you and Tsumugi. Wonderful, ain't it??" Wataru laughed out loud. Eichi couldn't believe it, after all these months, he got fooled by the love of his life, and didn't even try to trust the one that loved him the most. Eichi's hand was shaking as he is still holding the knife, but he had made his decision. Wataru was standing beside Tsumugi who was kneeling down in pain, looking down at him. Eichi slowly walked towards Wataru, and stabbed him in the heart, with no hesitation. Wataru looked surprised once again, clearly wasn't expecting this. Tsumugi looked up, a proud look spread over his face, he tried to stood up, and punched Wataru in the face. Wataru died slowly, his last words were: "I will always come back for revenge!.." Wataru's body slowly disappearing into thin air. Eichi looked at Tsumugi and hugged him tightly. Tsumugi smiled softly at him, and said, "I'm proud of you, Eichi. You finally got rid of the mastermind." Eichi hugged him even tighter, "Now I know the reason...you just want the best for me..." Tsumugi smiled and pat his head once, before offering a hand for him. "Let's go to the hospital, you're badly injured." He said as he points towards Eichi's stomach, where he had stabbed himself. Eichi nodded slowly, and bowed, "Thank you for everything, my leader."
