In the depths of her mind, a girl resides,
A soul burdened by demons she hides.
But I, foolishly, thought I could save,
By giving my love, her darkness to pave.
I lifted her high, placed her on a throne,
Unknowing of the pain that would soon be sown.
A hundred tries, I gave my all,
To mend her wounds and break down the walls.
But little did I know, love can be blind,
And in my own darkness, I too would find.
Her demons became mine, intertwined,
As our souls danced together, entwined.
In this twisted dance of love and despair,
I realized that life isn't always fair.
For the girl who once needed me to survive,
Now she can strive.
