felt like sending my Issues review on here (an album by KoRn) cuz it's my favorite album

this is it, the best KoRn album.
every and i mean EVERY song hits, even the interludes hits.
i'm going over every track talking about it and giving it a score (with this album it's all 10s)

Dead
this interlude to "Falling Away From Me'' is about Jonathan feeling nothing, so he feels dead.
the bagpipes are a nice touch as well, as i imagine Jonathan playing the bagpipes when he feels dead.
the mantra Jonathan says, ''All I wanted life is to be happy'' has a depressing but real meaning to it.

Falling Away From Me
This song is one of KoRn's best song, the song is famous for.. well, pretty much everything, the lyrics are dark, the drums are BOOMIN and the guitars and bass do their thing as usual.
The song's about domestic abuse, which is not a hidden meaning or something, the lyrics make it pretty clear that it's about abuse.
lyrics like: ''Beating me down'', ''Beating me down, into the ground'' make it really clear.
the breakdown of this song, is AAAHHHUHUHUH it's amazing, no seriously, it's rather euphoric how heavy it can be, even though it's the main riff.

Trash
My personal favourite song from this masterpiece is ''Trash"
this song's about Jonathan feeling like he has betrayed his wife by sleeping with what he calls little girls but don't worry, with little girls he means 18-19 year olds, he feels like he has raped his wife's feelings, wondering why she even stays with him.
And how's the song musically? FUCKING AMAZING!!
Jonathan's vocals cut deep and are some of his best work in my opinion.
The guitars sound amazing and Brian's added background vocals add a nice touch.
The drumming is impeccable as usual. (seriously David is an amazing drummer)
and Fieldy does his regular thing of slapping the shit out his bass.
so, this song issa fucking mastapiece

''4U'' is dedicated to all of the KoRn fans, Jonathan is telling them that went through some shit to get his feelings into the lyrics, but he doesn't mind it, because the fans also helped him stay alive.
as for musically, it's vibey and it's a great interlude to the killer track, ''Beg For Me''

Beg For Me
This song is about how Jon feels when he's on stage playing, he's happy to play for his fans and he feel less depressed on stage, actually happiness comes through him on stage, even though it would go away when he's off stage, it feels good for him, having that pain away for a short amount of time.
and for the music, the riff, OMG THE RIFF IS AMAZING, it goes super hard, the drumming goes hard, Jonathan does his regular business of being a good vocalist, it all just clicks.

Make Me Bad
This song doesn't have a direct meaning, some people think it's about a continuation of the song ''Trash'', some people think it's about sex, the sex meaning is the most interesting to me.
In concerts Jon would sometimes say "I feel the semen as it's leaving me, no, not again", it's about striving for love iand compassion in a relationship, but he only feels anything during sex, the feeling is deceiving, because it feels like something, but he knows it isn't making him feel bad.
The music is absolutely top-tier, it's insanely catchy.

It's Gonna Go Away
This is about Jon's fame, and Jon knowing that it won't last forever and that it will go away, but not knowing when terrifies Jon and he's trying to accept the fact that it's going away.
The song itself, is insanity basically, Jonathan going insane in the background, while you hear a clear voice of Jonathan saying ''It's gonna go away''

Wake Up
This is another song with multiple meanings, War, Band-problems, Family
i think it's about the band conflicts that was going on in KoRn, that's why the ''Remember What We Play For'' line comes from.
I think that the ''All of us wanna die'' line also applies to this meaning, saying that everyone in the band was heavily suicidal but they'll stay alive for their fans.
Musically, it's...... fucking amazing.
the guitars has some of the best riffs in this song, let alone how it starts, it just starts with some heavy ass guitars that'll rip your face off.

Am I Going Crazy
This is allegedly about Jonathan developing major anxiety while touring, becoming agoraphobic and was even afraid stepping out of the tour bus.
The track doesn't do a lot musically if i have to be honest.... still

Hey Daddy
This is about Jonathan's schizophrenia, there where voices in his head, saying to kill himself and shit like that, Daddy became one of his nicknames in his head basically, so this song is about him talking to himself all the time.
Well, I always thought it was about drug addiction, the chorus saying, ''You fuck me up, I'm gagged and bound, You pick me up when I am down, I cannot live without them, I do not live without them''
i thought them was the drugs, but i guess i was wrong when i was researching this album, because Jonathan said this himself.
Musically speaking... this song is amazing, the high pitched voice Jonathan does sounds fucked up, and the chorus is catchy, the guitars really shine on here, the pitch shifters they use are a really nice touch.

Somebody Someone
This story is about Jonathan's days in high school, he was the definitive freakshow there, doing everything differently, This song shows how bad Jonathan wanted to beat the jocks at school at something and how much he wanted friendship and companionship.
Musically it's amazing (shocking)
this has gripping guitars and good vocals, the drumming's amazing and the bass does it's normal amazing slappage.

No Way
This song is about hollowness or feeling bitter about you life and you past life,
in the ending Jon says that all of the hate that built inside and he'll let everyone know how fucked he actually feels.
Song = good
Musically = good

Let's Get This Party Started
it seems like Jon's talking about mental pain, saying that he's caught in a rut he can't get out of, he's caught in himself, only trusting himself.
the chorus, is him probably referring to someone else that he sees, he has issues he can't put with, but he sees everyone living their live, and maybe their putting up with the same as him but dealing with it, so he wants to be as strong as them and wanting to cope with what he feels.
The song is fucking amazing, musically
the chorus is literal insanity
the bridge is also insanity
and the ending makes me M O I S T

Wish You Could Be Me
The most controversial track on this record
and it's about Jon being molested as a child, where he wishes that the molester would be him and see how much he wishes for the suffering to end.
I think the song kinda sounds like an Oompa-Loompa song, but i kinda dig it, even though the lyrics are so fucked up.

Counting
This song is about the music industry feeding off Korn's pain, the chorus enforces this by saying that he'll be screaming his pain in the recording booth whilst the industry counts the money that they've made, taking advantage of them.
seeing them as something they would throw around and not being there for them when they need help with something.
''Each day taking that much more'' is Jonathan probably saying that he takes drugs to try to ignore all of the suffering that the industry has put on them.
Musically? IT GOES FUCKING HARD, the main riff on this thing is fucking bonkers, i can't believe someone can make a riff that heavy and bouncy, the chorus goes hard, the fucking breakdown goes even harder than the beginning, even though it's the same riff.
it's flawless.

Dirty
Jon says that this song is about him almost feeling like a prostitute for the industry, all of his music is personal and written with care and the industry just uses it and him for money, they use his struggles for money, so he feels like a "dirty little whore''.
This is musically, the strongest song on here, no joke, not even my personal preference can stop how powerful this song is and hits. Jon has some of his all time best moments on this song, he sounds absolutely beautiful, like a broken butterfly.

this album is fucking amazing, it's a very special album for me, helped me through my dark times.
i love this album so much that i wanna thank Jonathan personally for this album.
this album is......... simply a masterpiece, Korn's magnum opus
