ARTFIGHT 2023 SUMMARY

Summary:

I did a lot more stuff this year than I did last year, which is saying something considering I was on the road for most of this year's AF and couldn't do much while in a car for almost a whole day at times.

This year I was on team Werewolves. And from the looks of the lead we had, it seems very likely that we won this one.

I got an opportunity to try out some new stuff this year, and I can see quite a bit of improvement compared to stuff I did last year. I still need to work on backgrounds but that wasn't really a focus for this year.

I also got some really awesome art from others and have to show it off.

*Attack:* A Storm of Lugia	Points: 454.5
	The attack that got me the most points was this one with 8 different Lugia. This is the biggest drawing I've ever done. Only two OCs here belonged to people on the vampire team because there was a surprising lack of Lugia OCs owned by said team members. Links: Attack Link Youtube Timelapse

*Attack:* Ream	*Points:* 28.75
	This is one is simple but it was really fun to do. Gabberforth's character is really interesting and I quite like the glowy spots on them. This is the only non flipnote animation I did for this year and I think it turned out great. There are a few little tiny things that I'd change but that's just the I-drew-it-so-I'm-seeing-the-little-mistakes talking. Links: Attack Link

	Gotta love that this is only 5.5 points because it's just a sketch. I really like how this one turned out, it looks so cool. It was really fun to do too, and I quite like the old research sketch feel it has. Thinking about doing more stuff like this so I have examples to use for commissions. Links: Attack Link

	So this one was done in less than a day and is a flipnote AMV. I actually had to split this into two parts to more accurately score it. There's a lot of cat pokemon. Trying to time this was a pain in the ass. And finding OCs for this was also surprisingly a pain. The end result is pretty neat though. *Attack:* Riot	*Points:* 52
	Found Riot while looking through someone else's attacks and decided to try something a bit different. I ended up playing around with a few filters and gradients. Probably not a style I'll do again much, if at all, but this was a fun piece to do anyways. Links: Attack Link

A particular someone has recently dragged me into Murder Drones so I ended up doing a few attacks with Murder Drones OCs.

This is the first attack I did featuring a Murder Drones OC, the others just being stuff with my girlfriends OC. I quite like how this little doodle came out since I don't draw humanoid characters much.

I quite like this character's design, especially the hair.

	This was originally just going to be a simple shaded drawing but then I ended up playing with some different brushes and such. I think this turned out really well and I like the little details here. The background was fun to do as well. Links: Attack Link Youtube Timelapse
