It seems people are a bit active on here. Must be because everyone is getting tired of Facebook's shit. I know I certainly have. This is like a breath of fresh air. One we are all familiar with but haven't felt in a long time.Β
Nostalgia sets in.Β
Remembering those simpler times where we'd come home from school or work and spend 2 hours make the tiniest changes to our profiles hoping someone would notice.Β
Hoping to get clout and get noticed.Β
Now I think it's more so we want a space we feel relaxed in.Β
Can be free
Can be ourselves
Like we once were when we were younger.Β

I was always sick of Facebooks shit lol. idk why people even abandoned ship and all went to Facebook. Maybe because myspace had been sold and changed too much? This kid kept it true to the original which is why people have been gravitating. But I hope he gets on the ball and starts finishing use of all the normal functions like messaging and all the various other things. This is a good base and people are flocking to it now. Hopefully he finishes up the site soonish. But I'm really glad he made it. This was definitely a feel good community.
If I remember correctly once Myspace was bought out it just went to the crapper. I remember there was an update and all my photos were gone and the site just looked horrible. At that point everyone was on Facebook so I followed suit.
I am sure over time this site will come right along and will outshine Facebook!

Yeah, the site was in someone elses hands and they tried to change things too much. I think thats a problem now a days; people stuck on update, update, update. General maintenance is always needed, but sometimes things should stay the same. Theres a reason this site got big in the first place.
Did you ever go to the "newmyspace"? I think justin timberlake was behind that project. It was so different and I just couldn't get into it. Not sure how everyone else felt about it but I only logged into that a few times.
