If I say what I’m really thinking…

…then I’ll be perceived as weak.

Let’s be honest, who really likes hearing about other peoples problems?

I say I’m fine but… am I?

I want to be able to speak to people without feeling like I’m bothering anybody.

It’s like I’m about to message someone, then a voice inside tells me, “What are you doing? Don’t bother them. You’re wasting their time. You’re not interesting. There are better things that they’re doing right now and better people they’re talking to right now. Leave them alone.”

And then it becomes an endless cycle of putting myself down.

And to take that feeling away temporarily, I work on things or I learn something new. And I remain invisible.

I wonder how to break this cycle…
