July actually went really well!! Contrary to June.
From the 10th to the 17th, I was at a scouts summer camp! I had lots of fun, even though I was sent home because I got REALLY sick in the middle. I don't really have much to say, it was just really fun.
I also finally dropped a friend I've been wanting to leave for a year and a half, and changed up my hair. I'm feeling so good right now because our friendship was... not good. To say the least he doesn't exist to me anymore.
I have loads of summer homework that I didn't even start. To be fair, it feels like vacation started what, like a week ago? This summer vacation is going by fast and I REALLY don't want to be in 11th grade and I don't wanna grow up... Oh well. I think my main issue is that I'm just gonna have zero time to talk to my friends because my school days are from 8am to 5-6pm plus homework after school, so I have no time for anything. Oh well I can function on 2 hours of sleep just fine.
And since I skipped June; here are all of the vsynth releases from June and July!! There were. Quite a bit this summer. I'm also gonna include updates now I think.
On the 17th of June, Yun Quan and Lin Lai have been released on the synthesizer V engine! I don't usually talk about the standard vocals of synthV, but they're actually interesting; they're children vocals! Most of the default synthV vocals so far are mature vocals, so that's an interesting twist. Like all other default dreamtonics vocals, they're represented by two colorful letters.
On the 20th of June, the V6 version of Zola project were released! Their V3 voicebanks were released on the same date 10 years ago, on the 10th anniversary of the Vocaloid software! Note: software anniversary, not release anniversary. Right on time for the 20th anniv!
On the 22nd of June, the V6 update of Otomachi Una was released! She got 2 new designs, each for one of her 2 voicebanks. I don't really like the new spicy design that much, but to be fair, I never actually liked Una's spicy voicebank designs. And V6 sugar is just too cute for me to prefer the spicy design, I really like the V6 sugar design. The V6 update also allows Una to sing in english and (somewhat) in chinese, thanks to V6's AI capabilities.
On the 7th of July, were released Ritchy and D-Lin, two rap voices for synthesizer V! They were made to showcase synthV's new rap mode feature. Ritchy is a native english vocal, however can sing in japanese and chinese thanks to synthV crosslang, and D-Lin is a native chinese vocal, however can sing in japanese and english thanks to synthV crosslang. Their letter designs are also different, due to being rap vocals. I really like Ritchy.
On the 13th of July, MYK-IV (pronounced em-why-kay four) was released for VoiSona, CeVio's sister project! Besides for the fact that he's a really nice vocal and I love that he's pink, what's up with VioSona voicebank names? First it was Chis-A (pronounced chis-ay), then #kzn (pronounced kizuna) then AiSuu (a more tame one but worthy of mention), now MYK-IV?? Crazy. Also I don't know how much I like his voice but he's cool.
On the 13th of July, was also released Koharu Rikka's voicepeak voicebank! voicepeak is an AI text-to-speech engine, so it's basically like a talking voicebank to match Rikka's synthV AI singing voicebank! And yes I know that Rikka has a CeVio AI talk voicebank, but why not another TTS voicebank?
On the 14th of July, was released Yogatari Tobari's A.I.VOICE voicebank! It's a text-to-speecn engine, however, contrary to the name, it is not an AI TTS voicebank. Now, I'm mentioning her because I took a really strong liking to her! It's good that an older vsynth (yes 28 is on the older side of vsynths with mascots and ages) garnered so much attention that, from her crowdfund, she reached the goal to getting a voicebank on the neutrino engine, which is a singing AI engine. I also find it funny how her only canon info outside of age, birthday, and height is that she's a smoker. I love her.
And that sums it up for the June and July releases! Have a great day, whoever read this far!
