Septum Piercing

Finally got my septum pierced! It happened yesterday!

I've never had a piercing in a different place that wasn't the ears till now. I've had my ears pierced twice but sadly the second set has closed. I got my first set when I was 7.

Originally I never wanted a septum piercing because I rub my nose a lot and, a bit gross, have a habit of licking my nose. But something just kind of changed for me and I thought, hey, I think I'd look pretty fucking epic with a septum piercing actually.

After almost 3 months and an awful week of asking every day and something somehow coming up every time, I finally had my septum done on Saturday. My boyfriend was with me and my mom took us (I can't drive lmao). I went to the place I did because it was much cheaper than the first option and I kept hearing very good things about the piercer there. And am I glad I went there.

The piercer was very kind and has a relaxing vibe to her. She also recently had her second septum piercer which was done by her mentor so it was nice that she was also taking care of a new septum too. 

The process was interesting. She used clamps as usual and went through with piercing. It honestly didn't really hurt much, I'd argue vaccines hurt more. Though, she did discover that I have a deviated septum, so it was off. She explained this to me and suggested that I could either wait and try again or she could do it better a second time right then. I said fuck it we ball and decided to do it again right then and there.

It sucks that this had to happen, but honestly, still didn't really hurt that bad lmao. It did hurt more, but it wasn't awful. Not only that, it was MUCH better. It's definitely sore and stings sometimes, but it's been going well so far.

I love how I look with my septum pierced and I can't wait till enough time passes and I can change it to jewelry I really like for septums.

Cleaning hasn't been too bad so far and I hope it continues to be that way. 

Drinking out of bottles is a little weird for me and I couldn't kiss my boyfriend properly sadly but it's okay C:

Anyways if you plan to get your septum done, do it!!! It's not so bad C: but please make sure the piercer is experienced, has good reviews, and knows what they're doing. Because I bet if I went to someone who wasn't so experienced and good, I don't think the deviated septum would've been noticed and that would've killed me (I'm a perfectionist and hate things lacking symmetry).

Everyone's pain tolerance is different, but I'm a pretty big piss baby wuss lmao so I took it well. Though, piercings have never been very painful for me, even though I've had two piercings with the gun and this one done properly lmao. But I did bawl my eyes out after like 2 to 4 vaccines once HFJDASKL.
