Being Clean Is Not Gay

Being clean is not gay…let me explain what I mean. There has been this stigma, especially around black men, of everything we do being ‘gay’. Anything from cleaning your nails, dyeing your hair, or a dangling earring is seen as gay.

As a black man, I’m here to tell you, being clean, shaving or growing your hair, wearing a long earring, taking care of yourself in general, and changing your style is not gay. As long as you aren’t wearing a dress or makeup or purposely trying to look like a woman then you are good. Don’t let these haters try and put your style down. 💪🏾
