Been playing around with some navigation rework concepts. Unfortunately because I can't manipulate the DOM my options are fairly limited. But I had a few ideas. Below is a concept I built in browser as a test. Would love to hear feedback on it.

The side layout is awesome! I like that it goes back to horizontal on mobile too
