summer treats....

we're starting to get to my favorite part of the year, something about late summer feels so different than any of the other seasons.  although i do think each season is special and offers its own unique feeling of magic, the way everything gives one last push before things start dying in fall/winter feels extra special.  going to be doing a lot of cool stuff in august including a kink party and also getting a new tattoo.

a few days ago i had a dream that i got my septum pierced and i was searching all over the place for a little gold ring that i could put in and the more i think about it the more i kind of want to do it.. we'll see though, i'm kind of a baby about the idea of getting a needle punched through my nose.

lots of joe pye (the plant on the left) is growing all over the place and it's starting to flower.  there's also still plenty of blackberries, i love being able to pick them and eat them while i'm at work.

even though working outside means getting eaten up by bugs and being sunburnt no matter how much sunscreen you put on, it all makes it worth it when you get to look at this all day instead of an office wall.
