Is Immortality Possible?

Through the Void, I mean. Boneworks as an engine is to keep people from truly dying, right? Thats why when you die in Myth, you respawn with your progress kept. So what if we bypassed Boneworks? What if we died in the Void, would we still respawn, while our bodies lay lifeless?

I want opinions on this. It could work, but nobody is willing to try.
