The Beginning of Something... I hope?

I'm doing something similar to what every other person migrating to the peripheral web is doing. Every person who is sick of the way that online spaces are transforming into dopamine sink, ad holes. I'm creating a personal blog, maintaining a personal site, and I hope that can be enough. 

I want to create something that people engage with, and I mean really engage with. I don't like the idea of creating thousands of parasocial relationships, but maybe fostering a hundred social relationships. I have been inspired over and over again by projects like yesterweb, and smallweb manifestos etc. I want to create something cozy, and also put my work, my art and my soul, into the world. 

I think one of the most important things somebody can be, is vulnerable.

Anyway, I'll blog on here now and again, and I'll microblog on my Mastodon account (linked on my neocities website alongside any other accounts) and I'll post my art on my Instagram account (because as much as I hate it, it makes the most sense to me for uploading art).
