No connections to Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov The Spanish Word Lolita from the Novel refers to the Character name Dolores (there's a difference between the Spanish Word for Character and the Japanese/English Term for Lolita Fashion)
Lolita Fashion originated in Japan during the 1970s continue to boom throughout the 90s and 2000s to this day globallyÂ
            There various of different subtypes and styles of Lolita FashionÂ

I've often heard of it being a feminist movement against being sexualized by purposefully dressing modestly and in the fashion of a younger child. I dont know much about Lolita but is this a general held opinion? Just curious as I stumbled on this blog.
This is indeed true there were Women and Girls from the older Era and still to this day who dress this as a Feminist Movement by the pressure of Society and Men
