While I'm super late to this, I saw this thread when I was sending you a friend request. My #1 favorite movie is The Handmaiden (2019). It's a really good sapphic story with lots of twists and turns and is just such a beautiful film. Be warned there is a lot of adult content in it, but it all actually contributes to the characters and the themes of the story. Additionally it was written very respectfully to the characters and the director was very professional, keeping the male staff/actors remote during filming of any scenes with nudity. This movie fulfills ~6 of the criteria listed!

i really like the movie āGiaā it is about the first super model and iād say at least one of them fits into the Mean/Evil Sapphics category at times. the movie isnāt strictly about the relationship but itās certainly a big plot point and itās based off real life which is always interesting to me! i also think it portrays a relationship with someone who struggles with an addiction really well ā¢^ā¢
