Coding doesnt work hhhhh

If anyone here has any advice about coding on this website i'll take them, i've been using a tool on neocities to see in real time what the code input does and it works there but it doesn't on here, i can modify a few things but links don't work somehow and it's pissing me off damn, i'm just trying to have anice layout and i can't do what i want with these restrictions, it really is just the link things, the rest seems to work but i don't know how to correct that hhhh
