Nah, don't worry. It might hurt a little right after you get them on, but then it's like anything is there. Also, there are lots of videos of people with broken braces, but ir's not that common. I eat everything I used to with without braces and they never broke! The only things you need to worry about are to make sure that you chew with your teeth and not with the brackets and the cleaning. Braces are a little anoying to clean, but you'll probably get the necessary stuff at your local dentist.
(Unless you end up getting orthodontic elastics like me. Then God bless your poor soul)
