Hot take of the day SHAMELESS EDITION (Im so sorry for spelling im silly)

(Spoilers for shameless... duh)

OKAY, so if yall didn't know, I'm trans. And I love to see trans men in media so much. So when I found out Ian was gonna date a trans guy (AND A VERY HOT ONE) I was over the god damm moon. AND OMG THE FANDOM WAS SO PISSED, a lot of people would DRAG trevor just for being a love interest for Ian and not being a douchebag. and so many people (who were like the gay man version of terfs) would use transphobia to slander Trevor, and his actor Elliot Fletcher (Please I love him so much) Dont get my wrong, I love Mickey and def believe that him and Ian were a great choice. BUT THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE TREVOR A CHANCE!! People complained that he was boring and didnt have a life outside of Ian. NO SHIT??? What did mickey do in the first two seasons that wasnt related to Ian?? After Ian and Mickey had a established relationship THAN they got into Mickeys story, and fleshed out his character. I will stand by this so much because 1. people suck and are transphobic and 2. trevor was a good character, just not "the one" and thats okay!
