Yeojin’s Care Bears Part 1

Yeojin from Loona is a well known care bears fan, which I love about her. She has collected a few and today I will be tracking down and classifying each of them for you all! Also, just for fun, I’ll guess her favorite bear at the very end of this little series. As a note: she has no vintage bears as far as I can tell so I won't stress the years as much. They are all pretty much current models. Lets start with a fun one!

This is her Thai Funshine Bear (made by taketoys)! The Thai Carebears have a specific look to them that's quite different from the Basic Fun (the brand that makes the plushes for North America and Europe) plushes or the Ezendoll (the Korean brand) plushes. They're super cute and I'm honestly jealous she has one. She got it on second day of the LOONAVERSE:FROM concert seemingly from a fan. We have proof that she did indeed keep it after the show as it showed up in another post on her instagram afterwards.

Another fan gift that she kept! This is a Ezendoll Korean True Heart Bear with glitter eyes. Interesting tangent: there were only ever a limited run of the glitter eyes in most places back in 2017-2018, however they stuck around longer in Korea and Japan! Most Korean Care Bears being sold to this day have the glitter eyes. (I was shocked by how many idols have glitter-eyed Care Bears before I realized this). She was gifted this bear during the Fansign on July 2nd 2022. We also have a pic confirming the kept in from her insta that features two other interesting bears. One is very often seen and the other is seen only in that image. The bottom middle bear I believe is a Korean Dream Bright Bear based on the coloring and purple nose. The filter makes it harder to tell though 

This is what the bear looks like! I think Dreambright Bear looks really cute in the Korean glitter eye style! Perhaps we will see her again someday in a picture posted by Yeojin. The other bear in the group photo that is extra large is next!

It's Yeojin's Jumbo Sized Korean True Heart Bear! She looks super cuddly and has featured in several photos. You could consider her to be like the mother of the smaller Care Bears which would actually be quite accurate to her character's lore. True Heart Bear is in fact one of the 2 founders of Care-A-Lot making her an important bear! She also has featured in Billlie's music videos although not one as large as Yeojin's. It has also been shown in multiple photos that Yeojin likes to put accessories and hats on this bear which is just adorable. 

First off I apologize if this seems like I'm being creepy going through her pics I am simply a care bear nerd and not trying to be stalker-y. Secondly there will be a part 2 where I go over some more Care Bears she has because there are indeed more. I also will give my guess on what her favorite bear is, which I gave a lot of thought. Let me know if you guys think this is cute and fun or weird and boring. I mostly just wanted to identify them all for my own enjoyment lol. Bye bye until part two!
