entry #11 - im turning 18 in a little over a month

IM SO EXCITED!!! i cannot wait to be out of my teen years. ik im gonna miss them once im in my 20s and 30s but still. the one thing im scared about for being an adult is being held completely responsible for my actions...like i wont be able to use the "im just a teenager" excuse. its not like i used it much before but it was nice to have in there as a safety net of sorts 😭 

ive always been mature im just excited for my peers to catch up and stop being idiots. not that age has that much to do with maturity or immaturity but i feel it in my bones that a big chunk of the people ill be surrounded by will be less dumb. but we'll see. i might be dreadfully wrong.
