a quick rant about humans and climate change

this is just a rant from an angsty 20 yr old who was born seeing the world literally and metaphorically burn 

but like, jesus christ what have we done with the planet??? look man, I could care less about the existence of us humans, what hurts me the most about climate change is that the world is so strange, beautiful, dangerous and fascinating and people dont give a shit about saving it. atleast not the ones who truly have control on climate change: the higher ups of big companies who destroy the atmosphere w/ their emissions and the ones destroying entire ecosystems for their shitty products. which, hey, a big part of this destruction is thanks to capitalism.

right now in europe and the US there's giant heatwaves that are making it impossible to live daily life, while here in chile as I write this it's 7 degrees outside and there's heavy risk of snow... yall know how crazy that is?????

to the billionaries: how fucking much do you hate the world? and why? it's the same world that allows you to take a tour to these splendid crystal clear water beaches or eat super exotic expensive fruits. the same world you like to tour around won't fucking exist thanks to you and your greed. 

why are humans so souless about the world? the world is amazing. I like to talk about pyrite (the gemstone) as an example, because the world naturally created these perfectly geometric gemstones and are you not enchanted by it? how smart and wonderful the world can be? hell, do you not like looking up at the sky sometimes and simply admiring the clouds? maybe looking at the ground and whatever interesting bugs are living their silly life! why do you hate the world? why are you souless and why do you kill it? 

seeing the world with childlike wonder is not weakness but strength. go outside and admire every single leaf on a tree, look at the little ants working for their colony on the dirt, pick up a flower or a four leaf clover, maybe even pick up a bug! I like looking for cool rocks on the ground or buying non-tumbled gemstones. I think gemstones are so cool and it's years of natural history on your hands. the world is amazing to me and it hurts me that all humanity does is kill it. I'm not sure if I wanna live in a world where I can't admire nature freely or one where I can't live happily due to the terrible temperature.
