INTRO.

Greetings! My name's Yoojin (or Erik) and I'm a 19 year old Korean biology major currently working towards my PhD. I have various hobbies (most of which are things I do on-again-off-again) that include: writing, drawing, making jewelry, preserving and collecting insects, playing video games, and naturally: reading. I'm an avid opera fan, adore the absurd and macabre, a catholic (though the last thing i'll do is try and proselytize you) and (despite trying to appear fairly serious and admittedly pretentious) I am a complete and utter idiot that laughs at virtually everything. I'm also bigender and frequently change pronouns and am flexible with either masc or feminine terms. Please talk to me about anything that was mentioned on my blog, for I'm always willing to fall into long lapses of intellectual discussions, or just shit talk about whatever (I absolutely adore learning new things, so tell me about your own interests as well!)

I'm more active on twitter, and run a bot where I post some of my favorite quotes. If you find that I'm gone for long stretches of time, it's most likely cause I'll be over there instead. (I also have a side-blog where some of my more lighter interests are showcased, if that's something any of you are interested in. + EDIT:  I've also made another side-blog for my favorite horror content!)

BYF / DNI.

- If one couldn't already tell, this will be a fairly text-heavy blog. I have the tendency to ramble so expect most of my updates to be a little wordy. I would also like to preface that I rarely tag triggers, so unless the topic is fairly serious (or if it will include spoilers for something) I'll most likely just post something and the title will be the only warning you'll receive. As a little reminder, the content on my page may include (but is not limited to): Discussions of cannibalism (poetically), religious texts, and general NSFW topics. Please also expect frequent usage of gore/meat imagery (if that wasn't obvious by now, that is). I also curse and use words I can reclaim, so if anything I say makes you uncomfortable, please let me know asap.

- As stated on the main page of my account, basic DNI criteria apply: Proshippers, homophobes, transphobes, radfems, racists, and the like are NOT welcome on my page, nor will I ever condone their actions anywhere near me. Shippers of certain familial-coded ships (For example; Jilco, Nishikiryu, etc etc) and those akin to these are also high on my blacklist. Minors can follow and comment but I will most likely not interact with you outside of this space (mainly for the comfort of myself and the minors in question). I'm a fairly relaxed guy and typically hate confrontations, so if you have a problem with me than I'd prefer for you to just block and move on. (Note that I will also block freely if I find you meeting any of the requirements listed above.)

(...)

Other than that, everyone else is free to peruse my blog and stick around. Stay healthy, kind, and know that I wish you only the best in all your lifetimes.

Can I ask why you have radfems on your DNI? Do you, perhaps, mean TERFs? I'm not sure if radical feminism is what you think it is, but if it is, I'm curious as you why you, a bigender, are opposed to it. Please be civil in your reply. (I apologise if that's unnecessary to say, but I don't know you. Don't take it personally.)

hello! please don't worry, i totally get why this question would come up. most people who have approached me with radfem mentalities have been TERF-adjacent, or just straight up have butchered the term "radfem" so much that they consider themselves radfem while really being TERFS.. if that makes sense. i recognize this seems a little odd to have in my dni but it's purely because of comfort reasons that i wish to distance myself from them. i hope this makes sense!

(and please don't get me wrong! as a lady myself obviously i am fully aware of what radfem actually means! i've just become so used to so many people hiding behind the label that it's just easier to state it out-right.. i apologize if this seems convoluted, it really is just for personal reasons!)

Don't worry, I do understand. I feel that many people are radfems, but the term has just been essentially brutalised by people who want to further an even extremer belief, which leaves it unfit for those who understand the ideology and want to express that in a concise manner, as those who don't know will almost inevitably associate it with the former. It almost seems like a grassroots operation to prevent a society with the sort of feminism that actually benefits women to take root. What a pity.

exactly! it really is a shame that such an empowering term has been ruined by the likes of people who maybe should just chill out a little, haha! thank you so much for understanding, and giving me a chance to explain, in case others become curious as well! i hope you have a great day! :D
