I finally moved back to Linux
I tried to go back to arch, but my computer was NOT having it
I installed it, but it was super laggy, I had a million errors with Nvidia Optimus n stuff
So I opted for Manjaro, which was still painful because I had a year long ISO that refused to update, so I had to get a new one, but each time I unmounted the drive it would stall and corrupt the ISO (confirmed via checksums) and no longer boot
Eventually though, I got lucky, and after minutes (minutes!) of `umount -f /dev/sda1` it finally yielded and I could boot up and install the latest Manjaro. After that... it just worked. I love things that just work.
