Me but not me

I been remembering my dreams a lot since 2 weeks ago.
And 2 days ago i got to see my apparently recurrent appearance in dreams, its funny because i
look like anything but not a like human completely. I have a notes with
details about what i can do in dreams, some of them were about flying and thanks to this dream 2 days a go where i got another thing to add to the power list, i could finally see me, like everyone else in my dreams see me, mostly human, but with some weird things, and idk how really explain it.

Do you guys know how an harpy looks? i mean, wings and arm seem connected, but for initial look its that, i thought there was specific dreams where i had wings, not in every dream, i always forget wings have their own space so most of the time i end up being like a chicken.

Wings in my dreams are in my back, this means it haves its own space, muscles, bones, etc etc, so just another set of limbs in my body, this doesn't mean that since its a dream then its automatic their movement, i actually have to think on this as a separate part of my body, but its more easy when you know you have them.

From my perspective, in my dreams, i look like my real self, a normal human being, but for everyone else in my dream i don't look like that.

I don't even know why i do still thinking of me in my dreams as the same as the real me, we don't act the same, we don't look the same, we don't dress the same, we don't talk the same.
He can destroy if he wants, me? i will escape at the first risk.
I run and move like any other human, he runs and moves like an animal.

We are so different, but i feel we are so similar at the same time.

I see me in my dreams as the real me, thats why i cant even fly properly, even if i have wings big enough for it.

If i see myself in my dreams the same as me irl, then my wings move alongside with my arms, not fully extended, and hurt try to fly like that. I hate pain in my dreams, sometimes i feel pain in the dream, sometimes i don't, and the injuries in a dream start hurting when i wake up.
