i haven't posted here in a little bit, just cause i've been busy working and trying to be less online. i turned 24 on the 19th, which is crazy to me, but it was a great day. i was already off from work so i didn't have to move my schedule around and got to relax for the day. 

my husband went and picked up cupcakes that my mom (on the other side of the country!!) ordered and we shared them. it was just such a sweet gesture that they coordinated to do that. he also gave me a skinny puppy keychain and a liveleak sticker :) my dad sent me a skinny puppy record and my mom sent me a cat-shaped pillow and a really unique blanket made with secondhand indian saris. i'm excited now to gather presents for my husband's birthday coming up in late august.

turning 24 has simultaneously been mundane and a really weird experience. it's bittersweet to think that i'm entering my mid 20s when i used to not think i'd make it this long, much less past like 18. but it's my MID 20s. WHAT!! but on the other hand, i woke up, and it was just like. "well i'm 24 now. anyway.." 

i'm stressing about money right now but i'm saving some birthday money i got so that i can go and get myself snakebites as a late birthday present, hopefully sometime soon ;) once i finish this commission i'm currently working on i'd like to open them again and hopefully get some extra pocket money so i don't have to be so worried.
