monthly music rec! july 2023

hello, going to try out something here! every month i will make a dedicated blog post recommending a specific album or some music piece that im really enjoying, (sjdjdkjf dont hold me to doing this. im going to Try to rember.)

this months album and artist is:
here she comes-a-tumblin' by birdeatsbaby! starting off strong with an album i really like and an artist which i think is Underrated<3

favorite tracks: hymn, seventeen, the trouble, jacqueline, shiver up the spine

these guys are just great, the instruments sound amazingggg. this was my first introduction to the genre dark cabaret, besides maybe a few songs from the dresden dolls. and i love this style So bad so if you have any recs, tell me!! ^.^ they also have rock/metal influence but i havent listend much to their recent Stuff...

funfact i found them through a youtube playlist themed around rue from princess tutu. shoutout.. .
it makes me WISH the band was more popular, this album came out at a good time that some amazing amvs could have been made. i just know hymn and rue were MEANT to be put together!! >_<
