Gay panic

last night I had a dream I was making out with my friend. We are both boys, but thats not the panic part. We dated for a month or so. but than i broke up with him after we kissed for the first time. why? I dunno I just thought the kiss should of meant something more? SO WHEN I HAD THAT DREAM I WAS VERY CONFUSED. He is very attractive, fluffy blonde hair and a good scence of style. Hes really short compared to me (Im 5'7 and hes like 5'5). What I'm also worried about is that we play on the same sports team. So it could be weird if we start dating again and than break up. I really love being around him and hes like the only person I would want to keep in touch with once I move schools. I was also his first boyfriend and first kiss. so maybe he was just a bad kisser. and it was really more like a peck on the lips. I have been thinking about dating him alot recently but like I dont know. When we had our first date kinda thing he said I love u really fast. And I love him but it kinda scared me. Not his fault. SOMEONE HELP MEEEEEEEE >:(
