Hold Onto Their Words

In the depths of despair, a little girl cries,

A heavy weight upon her heart lies.

Depression's grip taking hold so tight,

She yearns for relief, an end to her plight.

Through tear-streaked eyes, she longs for release,

A respite from her pain, a moment of peace.

She contemplates a decision so grave,

Thinking, perhaps, it's the only way to save.

But pause for a moment, let hope still survive,

For life holds surprises that can revive.

Though the night seems dark and filled with despair,

The dawn will break, bringing light everywhere.

Reach out to someone, let them be your guide,

There are people who care, right by your side.
