SCHOOL LIFE

i am genuinely so nervous for school this year. im going into 10th grade and im at a new school with the weirdest bell schedules known to man. im meeting my teachers today at open house and idek what to think. im trying to buy all of my band tees and skinny jeans now so i can be comfortable and happy. im taking marketing this semester, and in the second one ill be doing guitar! it sounds great, but we are starting off with acoustic. i havent played acoustic since 8th grade, and im missing my high E string lmao. 

im hoping that i will calm the fuck down this year and make every chance i have at talking to people and really focusing. im also taking some advanced classes like german and Lit, but im even more nervous because i LOST ALL MY GERMAN. i can still make sentences given enough time to mentally conjugate and shit, but ive lost most of my words. i was in advanced german last year and had a blast in class and going to a german convention set up by my school, and it sounds like this school is gonna be great at helping me out. 

we having something called WIN time, which we can using for lunch, following up with teachers, having tutoring sessions, the like. its a free period! i think its gonna be a fucking fantastic year, and im even bringing a tape recorder to record my lessons and important news from my teachers so i wont forget!! im gonna try really hard not to be the class skipping person i was in 9th grade. im sure once i know the ins and outs of bell schedules and the overalll layout of the school, ill probably fall a bit and loosen up with my attendance and whatnot.

 my goals this year are to be ready, listening, on time, and successful. this school takes pride in getting people ready for college, so thats why im taking marketing. once i complete marketing and the adjacent classes for that, the government recognizes me as business ready. that means i have a nice record and will know how to start a business! it could also look good for my first job!

 i hope i can succeed in math this year, its always been my hardest subject. OH!! im taking forensics and creating writing this year!! along with art, i hope. im looking to makr new friends and be an easygoing and all around great person to be around. i cant believe im in 10th grade right now. i start school in four days so i wish myself all the luck.
