i was making a grocery order when i saw that my mom wrote "2 maranara (red sauce)" on the list.. i wondered to myself.. "was it always spelled that way? have i been misinformed and calling it "mair-uh-nair-uh" my whole life..? so i went and looked it up on the grocery site.. and i could find was marinara... marinara. Marinara, marinara! Marinaras etc. at this point i think perhaps my mom misspelled it, reasonable conclusion i thought, because ive spelled marinara as maranara before juts because i forgot how to spell it so i did it wrong on purpose. and yet i continued the search for this sacred maranara.. searching far and wide on duckduckgo.org or something, skimming in depth through the marinara wikipedia article to see what i could find. apparently theres a dance called "Marinera." . pretty cool! not what im looking for though.. the search continues.. it also seems to be called "alla marinara" in italy sometimes.. the wikipedia article seems kinda small for a sauce thats been around for a while. anyway i tread onwards looking for the orgin of Maranara.. i scroll further on the duckduckgos and i discover something called
"Marrana"
"Marrana"
"Marrana"
Marrana"
suddenly, directly under the
"Marrana"
Maranara
i continue to stumble upon things that lead nowhere near to maranara the sauce.. im starting to feel frustrated.. surely maranara is an alternative name to the sauce marinara right? right? i think so.. otherwise.. what have i been fighting for?
