They Both Die at the End (the book) (yes this contains spoilers)

Again, this DOES have spoilers!!!!!!!!

i finished reading the book a long time ago but i need to share this..... THAT BOOK WAS SO FUCKING SAD!!!!!!!

i read it in school, it only took me like less than a day to read it and omg i was tearing up and when i got home i reread it and CRIED SO HARD

im still not over it, i can't believe it. how could mateo freaking forget that his stove was BROKEN! THAT STUPID FUCK!

and after all that.... AFTER ALL THAT!!! RUFUS GETS RUN OVER!? ARE U SHITTING ME!?!?

omgg dude when it was at lidias pov after mateo died shes like "mateo is a 'was' now" i started BALLING

the first time i felt myself tear up was when mateo was saying bye to his dad in the hospital

brrooo imagine when his dad wakes up from the coma and his only child is flipping DEAD and all he has is like 6 pictures of  him rufus put up on his instagram of his last day alive

that makes me so sad like bros wife is dead, bros son is dead, and his house on fire! im pretty sure the house would be fixed by the time he wakes up and gets out of the hospital but STILL!!!!

i learned that a lot of people actually didn't like the book because it was boring?? or like they fell in love too fast???

but honestly, i could not stop reading, i did not find it boring at all

and i think the falling in love fast is what makes it so emotional, no? like theyre just two guys who happen to receive their death call on the same day, rufus changed mateo for the better and helped him come out of his shell. they knew their fate and they fell in love with each other, i thought it was sweet.

anyways! i have to read the prequel, The First to Die at the End, i heard its better and more emotional  than the first one so im looking forward to that, i already ordered the book, its arriving in 2 days :3
