You can design your profile using custom layouts or ones made by others in the layout section, which you've already figured out. Bulletins are short posts, like tweets with essentially nearly zero limits on text and images. You can use code to change how these look too! Only friends can see your bulletins. Blogs are for longer posts. Stories, diaries, meme dumps, stickers, gifs, etc. This is like your own personal notebook or news article that you can either keep private or send into the world. Forums is where you can talk to people you dont know about topics you like and groups is where you can make your own place and control who is in it to do the same thing. Welcome to spacehey!!
Oh! And the IMs/chat do NOT have notifications that are easily read, so if you start any, make sure to refresh the page a bit and look out for little red numbers!
