heres a list of movies that are not neccesarily about black metal, but have the same vibes as black metal music FOR ME. IN MY OPINION.
saint maud — can you fuck god? yes you can.
american mary — messed up horror movie about ilegal body modifications and revenge. tw for rape.
hellraiser 1 — psychosexual body horror and latex.
midnight mass — not a movie but a mini series on netflix about god, vampires and satan.
revenge 2017 — a french revenge movie. tw for rape. it's dirty, messy, sweaty and bloody.
funny games 2007 — black metal as fuck. I'm not gonna say anything else.
the descent — prepare to be scared and confused and excited and just wow. it's a trip
ginger snaps — "puberty is a bitch" the movie
as above so below — the blair witch project but much cooler basically.
alucarda — vampirism, satanism and demonic possesion.
jacob's ladder — this movie served as inspiration for the silent hill games!
raw 2016 — mom the french are making movies about cannibalism again

If you haven't seen Mandy yet I would absolutely check it out, the entire movie looks like Black Metal Album Covers. Also has a badass soundtrack too, fair warning it's a bit of a slow burn but if that doesn't turn you away from it, one of the best cosmic movies I've seen. It genuinely gets better and better every time I see it.
oh yes I've watched mandy and I love it! nicholas cage screaming in a bathroom while crying changed my life.
although I see it as more of a psychdelic rock movie— but I will add it onto the blog since I see where the black metal vibes come from

I always rec Jacob's Ladder for anyone that wanted Donnie Darko but as a horror movie and not dark fantasy lol this is a really nice list!

love all these movies, but jacobs ladder is the highlight for me... that movie is on another level of nerve-wracking
