There is a cord that I've been holding

That is attached to you

and it's dragging me down

I'm sinking backwards

Into the blue

Up to the stars, unable to breath,

With nobody around

Echos of silence

Of years gone by

A promise never heard

Holy ghost keep me grounded

Where I sit 1 million pounds

Detached,

without a single word

This blade I hold

I know will set me free

Once was lost

Now I'm found

When I cut the cord

Peace engulfs me
