ive been replaying the touhou franchise after not being able to for a whole 2 years and i realized how refreshing it is for me, i could only consume the fanon stuff for it but now that i have the ability and motivation to play them again it was a really fun experience :) people should talk about shmups more since they’re always so creative, no matter how cringe it is touhou will always be my #1 attachment for years on end :3c
my favorite game in the franchise is UFO (Undefined Fanastic Object) its the 12th game in the series!
heres what my computer looks like! (we’ve had it for like over 15 years and i’m not gonna give in to saving for a new one, so sorry if it’s bad) you can see that i have a lot of other interests but i rarely ever play them anymore lol, me and my friends were talking the other day about how they downloaded touhou and my nerd self decided to info dump on where i got it (moriya shrine, it’s super easy and i used a old tutorial back then), we later talked about the secret codes you can use to be able to unlock all the extra stages which i did first thing when i got back on my computer for the first time and, wow, it was super fun! i could ramble about touhou forever but there’s a point where i need to shut up about it Xp

Despite listening to Touhou music since back in 2010 I don't even play it that much. I'm bad at the games but I was so attached to the music and characters when I first discovered it. I remember on my iPad I played some shoot em ups made by Cave cause dumb teen me didn't know you had to unzip zip files. So no Touhou until I learned how stupid I was.
touhou music is what got me into it in the first place, i still listen to it sometimes since it actually brings me comfort (+ some of the remixes/eurobeat versions of touhou themes are always so good), also the characters are so well written as well and my first favorite touhou character was flandre :)
