15/07/23 - I'm sick :(

As the title suggests, I'm sick :(

My entire household got sick pretty recently, and I was hoping not to catch it because I have TAFE (essentially college) starting on Monday but I ended up catching it anyways :)))

I think I started getting sick around Wednesday? I was pretty feverish and dizzy and my throat hurt like a bitch but I took some Panadol and it seemed to go away. I was still sick on Thursday (of course) but it wasn't that bad so I thought I got it easy.

Nope.

Yesterday was pretty rough, I just kinda generally felt like shit but honestly it wasn't as bad as it was on Wednesday but now my voice is gone so that's fun. I got prescribed antibiotics so hopefully those should help, but I don't know if my voice will come back on Monday. My dad was saying that it would take a while so that's not a good sign.

Anyways, the TF2 summer update dropped on Thursday and it was super fun! The new maps are pretty good, though a good lot of them are pretty chokey. Like, it was super easy for the other team to spawncamp us or just kinda hide behind a sentry. Or maybe we were just bad.

My favourite from the new maps are either Sulfur (it's so pretty!! The spawn room has so many cute little details, it looks like a little bathhouse) and Phoenix. Of course, Selbyen was a highlight. That seal is so fuckin cute and squishy!!!! Her name is Sylvia as well according to the creator of the map :)
