how many quotes did Bennett Foddy have to read for the hit game Getting Over It?

hey all, been a while.

anyways, i've taken a liking to the nonspecific genre of difficult games such as Beton Brutal, Jump King and Getting Over It, i've finished none but still enjoying them nonetheless. Getting Over It really got me thinking, there's a potentially infinite number of times the player can get set back in these kinds of games, and Bennett reads a somewhat uplifting quote after you do get set back, how many did he read? how many are there? I like the game and the soft jazz that plays whenever he speaks, but surely he'll run out of quotes to say before i reach the end of the game? the game is only about 1gb so surely there can't be that many, just got me thinkin' is all. another thing is how earnest and warm he gets near the end of the game, saying stuff like "I dedicate this game to you, the one who came this far, I give it to you with all my love" and he reads you poems throughout the game, i think its really nice, and i hope there's atleast some form of commentary from him in his next game, because he's real chill to listen to.

I can confirm that by the end of the game, the generic motivating music and quotes do begin to repeat. At least if you're as slow to climb it as I am.

man i never got around to finishing any of these, closest i got was Beton Brutal but it doesn't have the charm of Foddy's narration and that jazz song whenever he speaks. not that it SHOULD, but i think it was something that made those kind of games special. to have a character be nice to you when you struggle
