Animation idea, should I go through with it?

I like drawing, and animations, and all that good stuff. Small problem, I cant draw people. I can only draw ships, not even kidding. However, I kind of want to give a try at some sort of animatic process based around syncing music up to some art Im doing of this evafic I like (dont mock me its how I still enjoy end of eva), and Im questioning whether I should go through with it, as it will be time consuming but possibly fun! (even though I have to learn how to draw people at least in the eva art style).
