always nostalgic ★ 2000s

I'm sure many people can relate to this... I feel like at my core I am a deeply nostalgic person and I am always missing the past and craving the feeling we had back then as a whole. Personally, I love the early 2000s-2012 era so much. I feel like pop culture was at its modern peak; celebrities were wild, TV was campy and original, the fashion was maximalist and at times ridiculous, and every song on the radio was a club hit. I MISS IT SO MUCH!!! Maybe it's because back in those days I was still a kid and I didn't know what I know now as an adult, and I didn't have the stress I have now but I think back to those days and it just felt different... those were my golden days. Everything feels so manufactured and the same these days... no one wants to be original, everyone is just a clone and houses are boring and minimalist and we have shitty music on the radios that doesn't feel exciting or fun like music back in the 2001-2012 era felt.

I loveee 2000s reality TV...it's really comforting for me to put on shows like The Girls Next Door, Rock of Love, The Osbournes & Jersey Shore after having a rough day. It's just something in those shows I feel like you don't get with reality TV these days. Today's entertainment feels so scripted and rehearsed and back then I feel like producers weren't scared to have their shows feel a little cheesy and wacky, because even if they were scripted they were fun and enjoyable to watch. These shows of yesterday just give me immense comfort....I am open to any other suggestions from shows you guys enjoyed back in those days! Now I need to end the blog here because I think about how much we lost almost everyday and tbh I could almost cry...
