So, i went back on the amino app

my profile was so weird, like bro i had to borrow my mom's phone to edit it (mine's bricked lol), so i could change all my profiles could look the same cause they don't all do that, nor is there an option to do that. oh, and tons of communities i was in that were bustiling with hundreds of new posts a day and over thousands online 24/7 are now barren with only hundreds online and 5 posts a week at best. many roleplay chats have an A in their picture, which i assume is for "active", and many communities have been deleted, also the original company was bought out by a big company in 2020 and there's no more apps for seperate communities and the only way to edit your profiles, check-in to communities, or even make a post, is on the mobile. and yes, i'm serious about that last one, it doesn't load the required captcha to post or even sign in regularly, YOU HAVE TO DIRECTLY GO TO THE SIGNUP PAGE BY LOOKING IT UP! i am very angry with how this has changed, like they need to bring the old one back, i don't care if they don't make the apps seperate again, that's fine, but like just give us the ability to edit our profiles and do captchas on pc, i know they can, other sites can do it, i know they can. i hate that they fucked it up for the pc users, i'm glad that they didn't change the format or how its structured (besides the affirmentioned things) but yea, i recommend anyone who wants to use it on pc get on your phone or a friend's phone and quickly check to see if your profiles have any info you don't want or if you want to make a quick post or two or even check in to your communities real quick for a few coins (that we all know you hoarded, don't even lie) before you start hanging out on pc.
