perfume is so back

my favorite girl group of all time just keeps aging like fine wine. they look unbelievably gorgeous in this photo that the official account tweeted earlier today for promoting an upcoming song. ethereal beauties.

"moon" will be released via streaming platforms and be made available for purchase on september 6th. i honestly don't know why they have a habit of announcing singles so far into the future as of late; two months feels like a really long time for me, personally.

they already performed the song live, too (and absolutely slayed ✨).

pleasantly surprised by the use of their lower register here... and no vocoders? i'm here for it.

they also did a collab perfomance with niziu on the same day!

but you know what i'm desperate for? actually featuring other artists on their tracks. there's so many artists who would go well with them; i'm thinking wednesday campanella, or even kara since they're such good friends. it's way past time for more crossover music, especially considering that they've been in the game for so long now.
