Ingredients:
1 tbs any cooking oil you like
1 tbs vinegar
1 tsp sugar (adjust to your liking)
Pinch of salt
Squeeze of lemon
Instructions:
1. Whisk the oil and vinegar together vigorously with a fork, whisk or whatever floats your boat. Whisk until they're evenly incorporated.
2. Add in the sugar and salt and whisk until it's dissolved
3. Squeeze the lemon juice in
4. Whisk
5. Taste test your vinaigrette. If you like how it tastes, then it's done. If you don't, add the flavor that you want more in your vinaigrette (lemon for sour, sugar for sweet) and whisk it in. Adjust this to your liking!
Notes:
- Maple syrup also works well as a sweetener for the vinaigrette.
- This can also be used to marinate meats

Try adding some balsamic glaze in place of the sugar and reduce the vinegar to oil ratio slightly, it’s absolutely fantastic

Oh yeah, good idea! I'll definitely try that out too when I get the chance.
