ay wassup it's your boy uhhhh
i don't have a nickname actually nevermind
i mean one of my friends calls me "lil bro" but that doesn't count
ANYWAY im here to rant about meteorology, because i cant seem to shut up about it ever
soooo i'll try my hardest to leave all the nerdy stuff out of my rant
but i looked at some models and watched some videos and spent way too much time on the NWS website, and looks like there might be a TORNADO here (woah the name of my sonic oc no way)
ik by saying this i essentially revealed my location BUT ITS OKAY you'll never find me >:)
but basically there's an enhanced risk (level 3/5) of severe storms and stuff in northern illinois
and with that enhanced risk comes with a 10% hatched risk of a tornado
"but what's a hatched risk??" i bet you're totally asking /s
a hatched risk of tornadoes basically means that the tornadoes that DO occur there have a chance of being EF2 or higher. also 10% chance of a tornado means 10% chance within 25 miles of any given point
i mean i was kinda asking for a tornado at this point... i love storms...
BUT HONESTLY I LIKE BEING JUMPSCARED BY TORNADOES INSTEAD???
cause ik full well there will probably be a tornado here... and thats just kinda unsettling yknow
as much as i love tornadoes and stormchasers and meteorology, i don't like natural disasters yknow
if you're in the meteorology community hmu /hj
and if you live in northern illinois (rockford, chicago, aurora, etc.) watch out
(ALSO YES IK THERES AN ENHANCED RISK IN KANSAS/MISSOURI TOO i just don't live there and i haven't researched that one sooo)
i'll be in the corner having a fun time being a nerd about meteorology and watching this storm ok byeeeee
