Title says it all, but to elaborate, Bohemian Rhapsody is honestly not that good of a song. It's just extremely boring and a whole bunch of nothing, and it's not really catchy either. Yet everyone seems to lose their mind over it, acting like it's "THE BEST SONG EVAR!!!!!!!1111!!!!!" and that no song can compare to it. It's not even close to Queen's best song, literally every other song I've heard from them is 10x better than Bohemian Rhapsody (though admittedly I haven't listened to that much Queen, have heard a handful of songs but I liked what I heard). Hell, even some of their other most popular songs (Don't Stop Me Now and Another One Bites The Dust to name two) are leagues better than Bohemian. But Bohemian was in Wayne's World so that means it's the world's greatest song ever.
Bohemian Rhapsody is overrated as fuck

idk man, for all my life i been a queen fan but bohemian rhapsody has never been one of my favorite songs, in fact sometimes it gets boring
I think it is one of the most emblematic songs but it is far from being the best

It's one of their best though my personal favorite is Killer Queen.

For me Bohemian Rhapsody is great not just because I find it to be a really interesting composition, but the story behind the song is really powerful and important to appreciating it. Totally fair to not like it! But there's a lot of artistic merit to the song and it's overrated for a reason XD

i do like the song and the band, however there are many other good queen songs out there and people just stay with that one for no reason :'D
i guess they just stay with that one because its popular or they just wanna look cool? i dunno

when the song came out it actually was wildly disliked. even my father who was young at the time said people he spoke to were constantly complaining about it. it went totally obscure for a decade, and then gained heat. if you look at it sideways it shares similarities with pop music that cropped up around the time it gained popularity so my guess would be people were just swayed towards songs like it at the time and now its held on to popularity due to nostalgia...
