xav's media log- july 12th, 2023

so this might be something ill do monthly or so (if i can remember...) in order to keep a running tally of the stuff im getting through- especially games, since my backlog is a mess. if you look (its pinned on my profile) theres a shitton of "WIP"s but its not like im playing absolutely every WIP at once. this should give a rough estimate of what my priorities are in regards to games right now

these are all games im actively playing. as stated above, TotK is my priority rn because...well, its zelda, of course it is lol. im aiming for 100% before i go and do the final boss, save for getting all the korok seeds so its definitely going to stay on this list for a while. also of note is that im getting a CIB copy of OoT JP soon and im more than likely going to do a 100% playthrough of that once it gets here, but that shouldn't cut into my time too much- i can probably do it in like 3-5 days tops.

i also have a rough list of games that im going to get back to eventually just...dunno when yet

this is in no real particular order and some of these games may get done before others. tomato adventure in particular im close to finishing, i just have to go and do it, but ive been avoiding that game for months now. neon white im also incredibly close to finishing, i think. its weird that i havent beaten that game yet. i wanna put metroid prime on here but i still dont know if i want to just finish the playthrough im doing on my steam deck (just got the plasma beam) or buy it again on switch and restart there.

the steam sale is on rn but i havent bought anything yet, a ton of games ive been meaning to check out like arx fatalis are super cheap so i should probably hop on that before it ends.

TV/ANIME

currently im not watching a whole not. my main thing rn is getting through ikebukuro west gate park- not the anime, but the original drama from 2000. im close to finishing it, im at EP 11 rn. ahh, and i really need to get back to watching breaking bad though, i stopped at S3 EP8. oh, and i need to finish watching beastars S2...

ive also been looking into anime to watch on my CRT. ive been meaning to go through .hack//SIGN on it but i also want to watch welcome to the NHK on it too. maybe ill find some trashy anime to watch on there lol. i still havent committed to that time i said id watch watamote or some shit so...

oh yeah, and i wanna check out the disgaea 1 anime!

BOOKS/MANGA

due to its status as comfort media for me ive been meaning to do a reread of beastars but i havent started it yet. what i absolutely NEED to get on though is the .hack//GU novels, since i have volumes 1-3...still looking for volume 4. i also have GU+ vol 1 and 2, and i never did sit down and read GU begins.

other manga i need to get back onto is the zelda TP manga, as well as san-gatsu no lion.

actually, as i type this i realize that i need to catch up on the jojolands too, shit!!!
