I guess I might as well start actually using this site...
A little introduction, my name is Jonah. You can also call me Sunny or whatever you'd like. I'm 21 years old, Australian and a transgender man. I'll probably be using this site to just kinda dump all my random thoughts into something, like a diary. Honestly, I'll probably just talk about my day or just whatever the hell I want lol
Another reason why I'm using this website is because I really wanna try and talk to more people. Even if I don't make friends, it'd just be nice to talk and interact with people y'know? I have a lot of trouble doing so irl so maybe this'll build my confidence. I'm also trying to be more active on social media, or at least talk more instead of just lurking and reblogging/retweeting stuff.
Anyways. Some of my hobbies, as you might've seen from my profile, mostly include drawing (I use Procreate and have been drawing digitally since around 2016, though I started drawing seriously in maybe 2012). I remember all those terrible drawings I made in my diary when I was 11 or 12, but it's always fun to look back on them!
I also write, mostly fanfiction. I've been doing that since around 2012, my first fanfic was written in my diary too (lol). I have an account on AO3 and FFN, which are both under Sunny_Daysss but I haven't uploaded anything yet. I do have a few Gorillaz fanfics in the works, so hopefully I can get around to finishing them.
I also use UTAU. I've made 2 voicebanks, Mirai and Tani Okami. They're my babies, I've had them for a long time (maybe 2014?) and they've survived many, many OC purges. I use UTAU-Synth, and I actually enjoy creating USTs and all that for it. Though I'm lazy so I haven't been doing much stuff with it lately. Vocal synths are probably my biggest special interest and have been for a while. I could probably talk forever about them lmao
I'm currently listening to Custard, which if y'all don't know they're an Aussie rock band. The lead singer, David McCormack, voices Bandit in Bluey so that's cool! I love Bluey, but honestly I feel like I've become a bigger fan of Custard if anything lol
David was also in The Titanics after Custard disbanded in like 1999. Their stuff is pretty cool too! My favourite song from them is either Hello Pussycat, Stalkerbait or I Can't Stand The Way You Drive (which seems like it's probably a b-side or just a song that didn't make it into the final album? Either way it's a banger).
I got sidetracked but oh well.
Before this gets too long, I better finish this up. Thanks for reading! (And hopefully the layout works)
EDIT: The layout didn't work :(

Yeah fair, it's tough to choose when all the classes are all interesting to play. Demo is great, but I swear I could never get the hang of him lol

I definitely wouldn't mind! I always love meeting others who like vocal synths so your add is much appreciated! I feel ya on mostly being a listener too, it's fun to just be on the sidelines and listening to all those funky songs people make :'D
Got any favourite producers or songs?

i've been following vocaloid since way back in 2008, so i'm really into the big producers of that time (supercell, livetune, deco*27, and wowaka to be specific). then sometime afterwards, i starting listening to stuff by 40mp, keeno, and whoo. as for more recent people, i LOVE police piccadilly and nayutalien - pinnochio-p is also growing onto me!
as for songs... the classics really don't get old. "last night, good night" is an evergreen masterpiece with the powerful instrumentals and all. i have the same strong feelings for ryo's "melt", too (really miss his vocaloid work). if we're talking newer sounds, i really like "bless your breath". the multiple-composer mashup of nayutalien's "dance robot dance" is also so fun to listen to.

Aw man, they're all legends for sure. I really enjoy both Deco's new and older stuff, a lot of my favourites from him come from maybe 2017-2019 iirc? Songs like Android Girl, Otome Dissection and Relationship Scramble. I think my other favourite producers would be Nashimoto-UI, Doriko, Hachi (when he was still doing Vocaloid stuff), Neru, Koyori and Zankyou-P (especially Isolation Ward, Bougainvilleas Don't Bloom and Donor Donor).
I definitely have a soft spot for those songs too! Melt is a very heartwarming song which always makes it a great listen :') I started listening to Vocaloid in 2013 so a lot of my faves come from just around that era. Stuff like Lost One's Weeping, Rolling Girl and Mozaik Roll were probably my faves from around that time. I also really loved Meltdown by Iroha!
